The decimal odds here are basically 1.02, so the bookies seem to think that it is almost a certainty that these teams will have at least one goal in the match. If you were to bet £10, you would make a profit of 20p.
Obviously this return on investment is pretty low, but any profit is a good profit surely?
If the return is not enough, the punter can analyse the statistics a little bit more carefully to spot a good bet.
In the example above, 7 out of the previous 10 games have resulted in more than 2 goals being scored, so there is a 70% chance of winning if you bet on the over 1.5 goals market.
Paddy Power are offering the following in this market:
The decimal odds of over 1.5 goals is 1.14, so if you bet £10 that the game will finish with more that 1.5 goals, you will make a £1.40 profit.
You can obviously increase the number of goals that you are backing, but the higher you go, the greater the risk that you will lose. That is why we are comfortable staying with the low profit, but high strike rate of backing the over 0.5 goals market as described above.
Value Football Betting System.
The other really successful way of being profitable with online football betting is to adopt a value-based strategy. This system does not rely on a detailed knowledge of the particular teams involved in the game, instead, it requires a good look at the relevant statistics and the odds of being offered by the bookies.
In this system, we are betting on which team will win or draw (the win – draw – win market).
The bookies will offer odds based upon their own assessment of the likely outcome of the game.
Lets use the Newcastle v Manchester City game as an example again.
Paddy Power are offering the following odds on the result:
You can see what their analysts think the result will be in percentage terms by doing the sum in the odds, adding 1 and then dividing 100 by that number. فمثلا:

However, they are not always right and there is value to be found. Although the average online punter does not have the same ability to check previous form and statistics as the bookies do, we can take advantage of the internet for advice about the likely results of a football match.
Statarea is probably the most comprehensive, free statistics service online. They provide detailed predictions based upon previous matches between the 2 teams, home and away form and current standings of the teams in the league. These are factored together to produce a helpful prediction of the result in a variety of markets.
They predict the Newcastle v Manchester City match as follows:
You can use these predictions to work out what the fair odds should be.
They think that there is a 44% chance that Newcastle will win. On that basis, the odds should be 2.2 in decimal format or 6/5 in fractional odds.
Therefore, the bookies are undervaluing the chances of a Newcastle win and this is a great opportunity for the online punter to place a bet. You could bet £10 with Paddy Power and make a profit of £40 in a game where Statarea thinks that there is a 44% chance of winning.
This value betting system takes a lot of time to compare prices offered by the bookies and statistical predictions, but it offers a huge opportunity for the punter to beat the bookie by removing the edge that the bookie has in a game where the odds do not support the statistics.
There is a significant chance of losing bets using this system, but the point is not the have a high strike rate of wins, instead we are looking for a high profit rate. In other words, although you may not win all your matches, because you have such good value in the odds offered, you will make a profit in the long run.
As with all football betting systems, it is important to stay focused and objective with your bets and the rewards will become evident after a while.
Test out your football betting systems on paper.
Before any real money is risked at a bookie, it is very sensible for a punter to test out the system for a while on paper before actually taking the plunge. Use a notebook to identify the matches that you would bet on and note what your stake and winnings / losses would be. Keep a record of how you do after each game and then after 20 or so games, you will have an idea about whether or not these football betting systems are for you or not.

Football trading strategies are often very simple (the best ones). To get the highest level of success it’s best to record all trades, and have a clearly laid out plan.
Keeping to it, as with all trading is the harder bit! It’s just natural for people to hold on to a bad position, nobody likes losing!
As you’ll have heard me say before; Knowledge dispels fear!
The trouble is, most people who fail at trading the football don’t put enough time into assessing the situation… they don’t have enough knowledge. If you haven’t a clue where to start this post will get you off down the right track.
Doing plenty of homework on each game prior will also massively increase confidence and success in any of the football trading strategies mentioned….
When Team Sheets Are Released – Betfair Football Trading Strategies.
When team sheets and various information is released there is opportunity. Just think about that a second.
That’s also why it’s not always possible to have too many ‘fixed’ football trading strategies. When I say fixed I mean as clear-cut as the same thing every time. Information and situations dictate the market, as they change we will need to change with them.
One thing is for certain though; when there is change there is opportunity. Even those with the best football trading strategies know this! Just ask the pro football traders over at pre-match trading.

Time Acceleration – Betfair Football Trading Strategies.
The natural progression of price during a football match looks something like this;
It’s often best to employ different football trading strategies at different points. For example you can see the price didn’t move at half time that much, but significant volume was still matched.
Obviously this graph is for a game where no goals were scored. The price will bounce around depending on what’s happening on the pitch. End to end play and missed shot’s are often represented by those little spikes that don’t confirm to the overall trend, but as with all football trading strategies it’s hard to predict every movement.
Taking a longer-term view can be helpful for this reason. Much like tennis trading , unbiased knowledge of the sport is a big advantage.
By having a good feel on how the game is going, this strategy can be effective. I should mention though, its best to be select with its application! If the pace of place suddenly changes it could be a good time to scale some of your position out at the very least.
We’ve all seen those games where the winning team just needs to hold on for another 30 minutes to obtain the points and result they need. Playing into the corners and taking their time with the ball isn’t uncommon.
These situations are where this approach is most useful. If you can find a game where its likely to be the case and the odds favour you (laying lower prices, backing higher prices) then it’s a double bonus. The last 30 minutes of any game can get a little more frantic, in the market and on pitch. Waiting for the right opportunity and knowing your teams means this can be a pretty safe play at times….
You’ll need to weigh up the teams and who’s playing, along with their motivation to win the match. Football trading strategies like this suit some more than others, it’s reliant on your level of player and team knowledge, unlike other football trading strategies.
On the Geeks Toy forums some time ago a guy called Wazoo posted this thread. It’s worth a read when you have time (quite a long thread), you’ll see a lot of his trading was in the second half…
It’s impossible to say for sure, although it’s likely this could have been one or all of the football trading strategies used.
Odds Compression After A Goal – Betfair Football Trading Strategies.
After suspension in any match the market goes haywire. Traders in a bad position exit, others scramble to open a good one.
There are many different reasons for this, although one of which is a stand out opportunity for me.
If you look at the three graphs below it’s not hard to see when the goal went in. Looking at the second graph in the centre I’ve added a couple of pointers.
After a goal the price dropped from 3.0 to 1.58. The graph doesn’t do the position justice as the price settled at 1.62. Looking at the graph it looks as though the price didn’t trade below 1.62 (mainly because of the volume matched after at them prices) although it did, and for a good minute or so (straight after goal).
Anyway, it’s not hard to see this produced a natural compression point in the market! One of those lovely points where, you can find an over-reaction.
More importantly, you get to open a trade with far more potential upside than down. Laying below 2.0 is always a good idea anyhow, but opening a lay bet at 1.58 or even 1.62 would give you the position to have a trade open for a whopping 17 minutes without the market moving all that much against you! Worst case, you would have to exit at 1.52 losing 6 ticks in the process.
On the flip side, if there was a counter-goal as there often is in football the price would have been back at 3.0 in no time at all (+100 ticks)
Make’s sense, right? This is what makes this method one of my favourite football trading strategies.
Obviously there is the risk of the current team that scored scoring again. After conceding a goal, most teams are on edge enough to stop the follow-up. Knowing your football and the situation that’s likely to unfold is an advantage. It’s a simple strategy but can be very effective.
It’s also a good idea to think about which team scored here. If the goal was scored by the team considered to be the outsiders, there’s every chance the price will hold that bit longer. If the favourites scored it was that bit more expected and so the situation is a little different. If the favourites scored first though, the price will be far lower, offering less financial liability for the risk of opening the trade.
Strike rate with this method is considerably lower than other football trading strategies, although in terms of risk v’s rewards it’s one of the best I know!
Laying The Draw – Betfair Football Trading Strategies.
Laying the draw is probably the oldest, and one of the most known Betfair football trading strategies. Many are already aware, but for those who are not I shall explain…
By laying the draw you are basically looking to open a position with the view of a goal being scored at some point. Once a goal is scored you trade out for a profit, or at least offset your position to reduce risk, leaving an increased payout on what you think will happen.
Seeing you rarely see a football game without a goal, it’s one of the most used football trading strategies around. There is a risk of over-trading though, so be select and consult statistics on previous performances where possible.
As with any trading strategy, the aim of the game is just to win more often than you lose! Not just trade every game.
There are two main things to bear in mind when laying the draw. The price at which you open a position, and the likelihood of a goal.
Checking the game in question for historical statistics is a good idea. Also checking the line-up for the game. If you have identified a match as a good opportunity for this strategy and they aren’t starting with their star striker, it’s probably best to hold off as long as you can (or until they come on) and get a better entry price.
Many games are still 0 – 0 at half time. This is the ideal time to open a position as there is extra value in the draw price to lay, it’ll have already shortened somewhat. It’s quite likely the teams will be feeling the pressure to score that bit more as well. Depending on the situation.
Some teams are also known for being a bit more ‘lifeless’ in the first half. And turning up the heat in the second.
As with any of the football trading strategies, careful selection is important. No two matches are identical. Many play this strategy a few times, see it works and then proceed to do it on every game in sight. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to work out that’s the way to the poor house.

Summary – Betfair Football Trading Strategies.
Trading football markets on Betfair is a little different to Horse Racing. In my experience its far easier to just aim for one edge in a match. Unlike the Horse Racing markets where you can place many more trades and act intuitively.
Keeping a spreadsheet to record trades and games is also a good place to start! It will help eradicate unnecessary trades. Think long-term. All football trading strategies will work better in specific types of situation. Some more than others. But if you have one strategy you can apply successfully on a regular basis the balance soon grows. The more regular profits are, the quicker it’ll happen.
Quality over quantity as they say!
It’s also important to make sure you’re trading something you actually have an interest in. I prefer trading the horses pre-race , it’s a sport I prefer to watch. And the markets feel that bit easier to profit from. However, football markets turn over huge sums of cash on a daily basis. Hundreds of thousands.

Be Select – Football trading strategies are often quite unique to a particular situation. Applying the same football trading strategies again and again to different situations isn’t likely to produce regular results. Be select in application, it can be frustrating when you feel like you’ve missed out but it’s far better to find something that works and use it less. Alternatively you’ll use it more, profit less and drive yourself crazy in the process! Keep Records – Keeping some kind of record is always advisable. If nothing else it’ll stop the roller coaster of winning v’s losing in terms of emotion. It also makes it easier to see which of your football trading strategies are most effective. Specific Knowledge – Knowledge is power, in anything. But it makes a huge difference to the results of most football trading strategies. Knowing you’re players, teams and situations will change the likely outcomes of so many situations. If a team is desperate for a goal in the last few minutes of a match all sorts of crazy moves can occur… producing some great potential.
Never stop learning! The more Football trading strategies you have at your disposal the more profits you can make. There will be occasions where the opportunity changes and the strategy you was about to use will no longer be of use. These kind of situations can be frustrating to say the least, but if you have more ‘strings to your bow’ as we say here in the UK then other opportunities appear in the moment as previous ones cease to be of use.
Trading markets evolve over time which also makes it important to search for new edges as well as those time-less strategies that will always be there!

Taking what you said in this article, without some critical thinking and knowledge of the markets, will get you a loss in the long-term! Namely, the odds compression examples where the odd stays still for a long time, depends on a lot of factors (time of the goal, was it against the run of play?…etc) and it doesn’t always happen.
About trading in the second half, I would recommend caution as losses/profits will be amplified comparatively to the first half due to the time-factor: less time to be played means the goals are more decisive to the final outcome.
Finally, the Wazzo thread is pretty good, it explains things on a macro level without dwelling too much on the details, but it is value content on football trading.

The compression examples are the key place anyone should be thinking about getting involved. Obviously knowledge of the game is important too, if a goal was against the grain of play for example it would indeed hold longer at a no-loss price.
The second half – the second half if faster moving as you say, which is the beauty of it in my opinion. Price is an important fact at which you get involved with this too, obviously laying at 10.0 is just insanity in such a situation even for a few ticks at liability is so high.
Wazzo thread is interesting for sure, like you say not a lot of detail but its always good to read between the lines on such instances!

We have come to the end of our trial of Football Hedging System and here are the final results: –

The Football Hedging System is a much talked-about suite of football trading systems run by Tony Langley.
There has been a great deal of interest from the gambling community about the Football Hedging System and it seems to have generated some heated debate – although most comment has been positive overall.
Membership has now been closed – we understand for good – so doing a review may be a bit of a moot point now but we thought we would do one anyway for the sake of completeness and just in case it does open again at some point in the future.
We tested the systems for six months, so what did we think?
Well, overall our views are very positive.
The systems Tony has designed clearly work, and if you follow his trades you would have done very well indeed.
We made 387 points profit from following Tony’s trades, which represented nearly 200% growth of the bank and is excellent going in anyone’s book.
And part of that was during the quieter summer months, so there is the potential to do even better than that.
So it’s a clear passed rating for the Football Hedging System, but there are some issues with it that we want to deal with further below.

Firstly, you may be wondering how it works. Well, upon signing up, you get access to the FHS members area, which has an array of training guides and videos explaining each of the systems. You are also sent a hard copy manual of the systems in the post.
The systems all involve trading on Betfair and have video examples of trades to show you how to operate the systems.
As a member you also receive Tony’s e-mails, which provide live updates of games he is trading with instructions and screenshots.
There were five systems to trade during our trial, although the majority of trades focus on two of the systems.
Please note that the systems are complicated! Yes, even seasoned traders may take quite a bit of time to learn to trade these systems and a good deal of practice is required to get them right. Tony advises paper trading until you have mastered them, which is sound advice.
The Recovery.
The essence of these systems is that they are designed in such a way that you should never lose a trade, because there is a “recovery” process you can follow to get yourself out of trouble if a trade goes wrong.
Now the recovery is complicated and involves backing various different things at the same time. You need to be able to work out how much to place on each separate bet and to do it quickly. That can be very challenging!
I used Bet Angel to assist with this, which has a nifty hedging tool to work out the amount needed to cover a given liability and that certainly helped.
In our experience, the recoveries do “work” as such, if you can get them on in time before another goal is scored.
However, here is the rub of things. In some instances you might not be able to do this and so you could lose a significant portion of your stake in this instance.
Let’s say one of the trades involves using the unders markets. If there is a rush of goals – and anyone who has traded football matches for any length of time will know that can definitely happen – you might not have time to get the trades on and just be left with a lost bet.
The same could happen if you were trading involving backing one team and the other team scored two or three quick goals.
So the systems are not completely foolproof. This should be recognised if you are signing up to the Football Hedging System.
There is nothing we have ever encountered (other than matched betting of course) that can guarantee you a profit whatever happens.
If there was then we would be millionaires and probably wouldn’t be running this website but would be off in the Bahamas being served cocktails by beautiful young ladies instead! 🙂
So please don’t think that this guarantees you winning 100% of the time.
There was also one instance when we were paper trading one match and there was an incredible first half, with the score being 4-2 at half-time.
We asked Tony how we should have traded during that half and he admitted that really it wasn’t possible in that instance.
A first half finishing 4-2 is an extremely rare occurrence though so we shouldn’t get too hung up about that one game.
The other issue with the recovery though is that often you require high multiples of your stake to make it work, especially when there are two or more goals against you. So if for example you started off with total stakes of £100, the recovery might need up to £1,000 to make it work.
That is fine if it does work, but obviously does limit the kind of staking you can do somewhat.
The issue of the recoveries was tackled with the introduction of the stop loss, which is dealt with below.
Tony’s Trades.
Having said all this about the recovery process however, it is worth noting that even if you had not used the recovery process but just traded out if things had gone against you and taken a 50% loss of the stake, here are the results from Tony’s trades since he started:
Total Trades 314.
Total Recoveries 32.
Total Successful Trades 282.
Strike Rate 89.8%
Using just a £300 bank delivered a net profit return of £938.93 which is a 308.6% bank growth without compounding.
So even without the recovery, just by following Tony’s trades you would have done very well. This shows just how good Tony is at selecting matches with the criteria for his systems.
The Stop Loss.
P erhaps in response to concerns over the problems with the recovery process, Tony recently added some new methods that involve placing “stop losses” so that even if things go against you, you have trades placed that insure you against losing too much.
These are certainly a welcome addition and do add some considerable protection. However, these still need you to trade quickly when things happen in a game, so there is the same risk of lots of goals affecting you. But the amount at risk is less which is good.
The price for the Football Hedging System is exceptionally high compared to the vast majority of tipsters and betting systems we have reviewed on here, at £1297 for the cheapest package, plus £201 per month for Tony’s advice and e-mails.
So the question is, is that cost justified?
Well, it will depend on a certain extent on how large your staking is as that will define how long it takes to win back the cost of the subscription.
Over the long term you should make it back even with relatively modest staking, but it could take up to a year or longer.
In our view, the cost of the system is too high relative to everything else on the market and should be lower.
However, the cost hasn’t stopped large numbers of people signing up, so clearly people are prepared to pay the substantial fees for access to the system.
And of course there is always the option of a refund, as long as you follow the rules set out regarding refunds in their terms and conditions.
OVERALL VERDICT: PASSED.
The Football Hedging System is a suite of systems for trading the football markets on Betfair.
During our trial, we made 387 points profit from following the trades and nearly trebled our bank, with nearly 90% of the trades being successful. These are excellent results by anyone’s standards.
It has been claimed that using the systems means you “can’t lose” because they include a recovery process that allows you to supposedly at least break even from a trade, even if it goes against you.
We don’t think this is quite true, because if there are goals scored before you can execute all aspects of the trade, then you will lose money.
Plus there was a match during the trial where the recovery process didn’t work.
So the process isn’t completely foolproof in our view – you can still lose with it.
However, even without the recovery process, just by following Tony’s trades and accepting 50% loss of the stake when a trade goes against you, would still have made you over 300% bank growth, so there is clearly great value in the systems and Tony has great skill at picking the matches.
Ultimately there are a number of approaches to win football bets , and the Football Hedging System has identified a few unique ones.
Overall then in our view, it is a question of whether you can stomach the high joining costs and be prepared to wait potentially up to a year to make those costs back, as well as putting in a great deal of work in learning the systems.
If you are prepared to do these things, then the Football Hedging System is highly recommended.
Football Hedging System – Closing Down.
Just a quick note to say that the Football Hedging System is closing its doors – apparently for good – on Sunday 11th September.

Football Hedging System – Results Update.
More positive progress for Football Hedging System since our last update.
We have added a further 123 points of profit in the last month to stand at 387 points in profit for the trial as a whole.
I mentioned previously that I was looking for a bot to trade the systems automatically. Whilst I haven’t quite managed that, I have started using Bet Angel to hedge the correct scores all at once, we saves a lot of time and messing around with a calculator.
Interestingly, Tony has responded to one of the criticisms of the system – that if things keep going against you in a match you need to keep adding massive amounts of bets to operate the recovery – by introducing a new “stop loss” طريقة.
This basically sets things up so there isn’t a need to do this and makes the potential bank needed for a trade much more manageable.
I am still getting used to this new stop loss system but if it works as well as Tony suggests then it would be a good improvement and would really take the Football Hedging System towards a top rating from us.
One other thing to mention – whilst the system is now closed to new members, we understand that Tony is considering allowing in a small number of new members at the start of the next football season – so watch this space as it were…
Football Hedging System – Results Update.
Things have continued to progress well for the Football Hedging System, with a further 63 points of profit added since our last update.
That means for the trial so far, we are 264 points in profit and moving along very nicely.
What is interesting is that Tony sent round an e-mail a few days ago showing the results since the service started, if you had not even used the recovery process but just traded out if things had gone against you and taken a 50% loss of the stake.
The results were as follows:
Total Trades 314.
Total Recoveries 32.
Total Successful Trades 282.
Strike Rate 89.8%

However, of course you should try and master the process as that will increase the profits and mean you break even on the trades that go wrong rather than lose.

Football Hedging System – Results Update.
It has been a quiet time for the Football Hedging System as Tony has been on holiday for a couple of weeks so we haven’t had any trades since 13th April.
However, up to that point I had added a further 20 points of profit since our last update to stand at 201 points in profit for the trial so far.
My results for the recoveries haven’t been as good as Tony’s as I am still practicing and learning, so for example on the Roma v Bologna match I made a scratch trade where as Tony made an 18% profit.
He is now tending to attach screenshots to show his positions which is reassuring as you can see that it can be done.
My results also do not include a number of method five selections, which are ones that crop up spontaneously during matches, so if you are not at your computer when that happens you will miss them – as I have.
However, here are Tony’s results for those Method Five Selections:
5th April - East Bengal v Mumbai – ؟ 6th April – Stallion v Global – 9.59% profit 9th April – Southampton v Newcastle – 5.33% profit 10th April – Nice v Rennes – 6.5% profit.
We didn’t receive details of the profits achieved from the East Bengal v Mumbai game, but the others would have added a further 21.42% profit.
Our comments remain much the same as last time – we can see the power of the system but think a bot would help enormously with this to automate things.
Back soon with our next update – Tony is due back from holiday next Monday (9th May) so we should be back trading again then.
The other thing to mention is that the Football Hedging System is currently closed to new members, but we understand they may consider opening their doors again when Tony returns.

Football Hedging System – Results Update.
Things have continued in very positive fashion for Tony Langley’s Football Hedging System .
Since our last update we have added a further 40 points of profit to stand at 180 points up for the trial after one month.
We have now had a chance to undertake a recovery as a trade went against us in the Ascoli v Vicenza game.
It is a bit of a panic at first when one happens and you try to get all the bets on quickly at the right stakes – this is certainly something you need to practice quite a lot to get right.
I didn’t quite get it right and made a small loss on the trade, but viewing Tony’s screenshots I can see you could have got out at even for the trade.
I actually think what this system would really benefit from is a bot to automate the recovery – then I think you would have the ultimate money making machine.
So any budding bot makers out there…please do get in touch!
Anyway, I also missed a trade on the Switzerland v Rep of Ireland match that would have required a recovery. It was an “advanced method two” so not quite ready for that yet.
There have also been a couple of method fives I have missed as they crop up during the games so it depends if you are at your computer when Tony sends the opportunity as to whether you can do them.
Overall I have been impressed with this so far, the strike rate is as high as promised and I can see the logic in the recoveries.
It is just a question of practicing the recoveries until they become more or less automatic. Tony has helpfully provided some video footage recently of recoveries in action, so this is aiding with the learning process.

Football Hedging System – Results Update.
It has been an excellent start to our trial of Football Hedging System , with all trades being successful since we started two weeks ago.
That means we are over 140 points in profit already.
So in terms of the success rate of the system, things certainly seem to be living up to the sales claims so far.
The real test of this system though is when things go wrong and you have to launch what is called a “recovery” to get back what you have risked.
Now we haven’t had any opportunities to undertake recoveries so far, but having looked at the examples and practiced a couple, it seems like a logical method and as far as we can see, should work.
It is complicated though – particularly if there are lots of quick goals in succession – so we are still getting to grips with it.

Football Hedging System – New Review.
There is a real buzz around at the moment about a new football trading system that has hit the internet recently.
It is called the Football Hedging System by Tony Langley and I am not sure if I can remember quite as much excitement about a new system.
When you see the sales page you can perhaps understand the excitement.
It makes some extraordinary claims, headlining with the line that in the last few years, a full time working guy has made over £230,000 from using the system.
Even more amazing is the claim that since June 2018, there has not been a single losing trade!
Apparently the system has devised a method for trading football matches on Betfair in such a way that you cannot lose.
Well if that is the case then I think is probably the betting “holy grail.”
You can supposedly make an estimated £9,000 to £12,000 per month trading the system, by winning 90% of your trades and at worst breaking even on the other 10%.
Now with claims like these, the system doesn’t come cheap.
The lowest cost package is the “Gold” option that comes at an upfront payment of £1,297 followed by a monthly subscription of £201 per month which includes support and Tony’s trading selections.
Next is the Platinum package, which costs £1,597 upfront followed by monthly subscriptions of £121.
Finally there is the Diamond Package of £2,597 which includes lifetime support and 28 weeks of selections.
However, there is a risk free 145 day trial of the service available. To qualify for getting your money back you have to have traded at least 30% of Tony’s trades, recorded them in a log and not achieved at least a 30% growth of your bank per month.
Now thankfully Tony has been kind enough to provide me with a copy of the Football Hedging System and the selections for three months so I can test the system, which is a good sign he is confident in the system.
When I first came across this system I have to say I was suspicious as I have seen similarly wild claims made before by other systems over the years that sadly haven’t turned out to be true.
However, there are quite a few people saying this does actually work which is interesting. As ever, only time will tell under a live trial.
I will revert soon with an update on how things are going with the system, hopefully having got my head around it as from what I have seen so far it is very complicated.

I have read a lot about this system and it certainly is causing a stir which is always great to see. In your trial which level of the service have you been given access to? Gold, Platinum or Diamond?
It is my understanding that Tony will also send out his recommendations on which games to look at and how to trade them etc even an option to follow him doing so live! Is this something that you are doing? or are you simply following the system on your own.
Whilst you are currently 140 points in the positive overall what percentage of your starting bank would this be?

I am following just Tony’s selections, which give you live updates on what to do.
In terms of a bank for the service, I would think a 200 point bank would be reasonable, so we are over 50% up so far.
Hss the creater of this not given any advice on how to do this automatically. Surely there will be an off the shelf bot that can help with this.
I am very interested in this system, however, cannot make it down to where the live meeting.
A bot would really take a lot of the stress of learning out of the equation. Even if the bot just found the selections that would be a great help.
Are TOny’s selections easy to follow and do you have to select which method you use or is this done for you?
Yes I agree, a bot to trade this would be a great help. I am surprised that no-one (including Tony himself) have not put the effort into developing a bot.
Hopefully we will see one in future.
I’m a paid member to this service and I’m extremely dissapointed with it, its effectively an elaborate hedging system which to sum it up neatly….means you spend more to win more but lose more when you do. I’m in contact with several other members who are seeking legal advice, the sign up is cleverly contrived to not give you the opportunity to get your money back even though it says you can, and at £2000 its not cheap! I would urge anyone contemplating this to please please do NOT waste your money. If I had read this post I wouldn’t have.
I’m currentley trying to gather info against Tim Lowe and Tony langley to try to retreive my £2597 that I paid for the Daisho Trading System. So much for the no questions asked refund… Also I feel I was lied to from the begining as to where they were going with this.
On the first day of the live course, I asked Mr Langley if this system could have the odds manipulated and was told no. Now it seems that this system is being offered to every man and his dog.
It doesnt take a scientist to work out, that if everyone is doing the same or similar bets IN RECOVERY MODE, then this will create untrue odds. سهل هكذا.
Hi what were your stakes for these trades? And how much did you need back up per trade to complete the trade or incase of recovery. Bear with me please as im just starting to read up on this software 🙂
Generally you need about £200 to cover the trades at the outset but then need more in reserve (up to a couple of grand) to cover things if they go wrong.
Could Tony Langleys Hedging System be carried out on an IPAD.
Hypothetically it could be, but I would not want to risk the extra time it would take to do the trades on an ipad as opposed to desk top. That could cost you big time.
How on earth can they justify the price though? Half a dozen strategies? £299 max. Ongoing support/selections? Perhaps £30 a month. I’ve seen the strategies and although decent additions to a trading armoury we’re not talking about reinventing the wheel here.
Yes we feel the price is steep, as stated in the review. I guess what you paying for is all the support, but really still it is a bit high in our opinion. Some people seem to be doing well out of the system though so if you really take it seriously the investment could be worth it.
I am a keen follower of this review as it is something I would like to get into. Right now I can see that the doors to this are closed, do you know if this is because Tony has reached the max number of subscribers or is it to preserve prices on the exchange?
Further to your last update has there been any further mention of a bot to help with this?
Also can this be used on Smarkets too. The reason I ask is that if earning what this system seems capable of producing then you would be in line for a great deal of commision to be taken off and then liable for Betfair’s winning tax.
Perhaps even trade on both Betfair and Smarkets (or other exchanges) to double the profit.

I believe Tony reched the maximum number of subscribers in terms of what he could handle with regard to support.
It could be used on Smarkets yes, as long as the liquidity is good enough on the correct score markets.

I used software to set up the trades at the outset and then to assist with calculations in-running, but still placed the trades myself.
Really looking forward to seeing the final write up on this – but dang that is pricey – I have not seen a product priced like that in a long time. A couple of questions: To clarify this is not arbing, right?
Also is this a ‘live trade’ thing – if so what are the working hours? Does he send the quotes live via email/whatever or send them the night before like some of the horse racing systems you reviewed?
Yes it is not arbing, all the trading is on Betfair. The working hours are when the big football matches are on – so midweek evenings and then during the day at weekends. You used to get the matches to trade well in advance, a good few hours. Then for some you would get live in-running updates.

Not actually trading this anymore, but if a bot was ever developed for it then I might reconsider.

I used the Bet Angel dutching tool to set up the trades and then to assist with the in-running calculations.
Look interesting but why implement stop loss method when the site slogan ‘zero risk method’ ؟
I know that he suggestivo to Trade 5-10 %Bank and keep 90-95% Bank for rexovery… But maybe it’s not enough in some situation ?
The “zero risk” method is in theory if you can get all your trades on in time and have a big enough bank. Sometimes things can move too quickly though like if there are lots of goals, so that’s why the stop loss was set up.
You do need a large bank to cover the recoveries, at least a couple of grand really.
Good review, I am not a big fan of progressive staking but the results to trading out to a 50% loss look good.
Easy way to lose an awful lot of money.
This is a progressive staking system a la Martingale. The bad news is you can’t have every score from 0-0 to 4-4 covered. If that were possible everyone would be doing it and everyone would be a multi billionaire.
The hit rate in this system approaches 100%. But sadly all it takes is the 1 / 1000 game that has endless goals and your whole bank will be obliterated.

It is true – as we point out in the review – that if things go wrong (e. g. lots of goals quickly) – then the trade can go wrong and you can lose. However, you should not stake your whole bank on one match and Tony now has the stop loss system which limits the losses.
On one game, from a £30 opening stake Tony ended up staking £1500 and didn’t even have every eventuality covered. This is a hugely risky system which will have loads of little wins. Eventually you will lose your whole bank on one game though.
I paid for this about 6 months ago and to be honest, I haven’t done a single bet yet. Whilst the service and website is great, and Tony is a genuine guy, the system is so complicated that given the risks if a match goes away from you, I don’t want to risk losing a lot of money. You really need to devote a lot of time to fully understanding the various systems before risking any money, also I’ve never quite understood how you’re meant to paper trade, because you can’t do that on Betfair.
I bought the football hedging system and just wasnt able to be fully comfortable with it because as you have pointed out.
1) The recovery process is based on your ability to get the additional recovery trades in place before anything else happens in the game which carries a high level of risk. Also there are times where the odds may not always be in sync for you to carry out the recoveries so you have to play a waiting game and waiting means risk.
2) Also if goals keep going in before you have a chance to complete the recovery trades then you have to keep putting more and more money which means for a £300 liability trade you could end up having to spend £1500 – £2000 to recover and if something went wrong like the betfair site went down or the games was suspended because of a feed issue you really are at the mercy of fate.
Are you saying that this stop loss negates the issue I had above.
Yes as we say in the review, the stakes needed for the recoveries are considerable. The stop loss helps with this but as with any stop loss system will also reduce your profits.
I believe this is shut now to new members anyway and Tony has now moved on to “The Daisho System,” which we understand is another football trading system we are trying to get our hands on to test.
The Daisho is largely based on Tony’s hedging system but has the same problem with the recovery side of things. It will work at least 95% of the time but the rare times it goes wrong will wipe out all previous profits and more besides. Stay well away from these systems is my advice!

I bought the football hedging system not long after it came out. would be sweet if they offer a discount for former customers.
Might be worth a good read through this facebook page before anyone buys the daisho system. Seems genuine enough and there is a lot of the help and ticket support conversations to back the claims up. I am not buying it thats for sure.
